• Ms. Bushueva is in charge of developing emerging markets strategy for Arbat Capital. Focusing on companies with high liquidity and specific investment opportunities, Ms. Bushueva blends bottom-up fundamental analysis with a thorough assessment of general macroeconomic and political risks, as well as specific events that can affect individual companies. Ms. Bushueva advises the New Kremlin Fund, which primarily focuses on investments in Russian equities.
• Prior to joining Arbat Capital, Ms. Bushueva was a strategist with Aton, one of Russia's oldest brokerage firms.. After Aton was acquired by Italy’s Unicredit Group in 2006, Ms. Bushueva became co-head of research. For a number of years the Aton/Unicredit research teams achieved top rankings in industry surveys, including the Institutional Investor rankings. Ms. Bushueva was also responsible for managing both the Aton and Unicredit Securities model portfolios, which consisted of blue chips and mid-cap companies and outperformed benchmarks over a number of years.
